SPD Books at the BAM
Starting January 15th, SPD and some key Bay Area SPD publishers are
collaborating with the Berekely Art Museum on their new project, The Reading Room.
The Reading Room will feature a Take A Book / Leave A Book library
which will be initially seeded by Kelsey Street, Atelos and Tuumba
overstock. So bring a book from your collection and pick up one of the
terrific titles that will be on hand! You can also listen to recordings of selected poets published by these presses, and
view silk-screen prints and original works on paper created by George
Schneeman in collaboration with poets Ron Padgett, Bill Berkson, and
Lewis MacAdams. A schedule of related readings and
events will be announced soon. If you are in Berkeley, don't miss it!!!
